IntroductionGothenburg is Sweden's second largest city. Where You're DockedThere are two main cruise terminals for Gothenburg. Freeport is a 20 minute walk across the bridge to the city or you can shorten your trip by catching a tram at Frihamnen stop. Larger ships dock at Arendal (directly beside the Volvo Museum) or Skandiahamnen (container port adjacent to the east) 5 miles to the west. Shuttles are usually provided to the city center (Gustav Adolphs Square ) and may be provided to the port gates. Shopping & RestaurantsNordstan is Sweden's largest mall and is located directly across from the main railway station. Kungsportsavenyen or Avenyen is the city's main boulevard stretching from the bridge to the Poseiden Statue. You can find outdoor cafes and restaurants along the riverfront by the city center.
