Australia has eliminated the penny and cash transactions are rounded up or down to the nearest nickel. Taxes are inclusive on sticker prices of items and tipping is not common. Money exchange can be done at any bank. When changing money, make sure you get a good rate and don't pay commission. ATM's are readily available. Tipping is not customary in Australia.

Public buses run to a town at the base, Fern Tree. http://www.wellingtonpark.org.au Shopping & RestaurantsElizabeth St Mall is the outdoor pedestrian mall in the city. There are several shopping centers in this area including the Centro Cat and Fiddle and Centrepoint. There is a Woolworth's supermarket at 44 Argyle St (by Liverppol). Salamanca in the main restaurant and bar neighbourhood. There is a square hidden behind the main road in this area. The harbour area has plenty of seafood restaurants. There is a market setup on the lawns by the waterfront every Saturday 8:30 to 3pm. InternetCafes and restaurants may provide free wifi for customers.
