Split Harbor

Introduction

Split is a small city on the Dalmation coast of Croatia with a large palace.

Where You're Docked

Cruise ships anchor offshore and tender to the pier directly in front of the palace and by the promenade. Smaller ships may be able to dock at piers in Split's main harbor.

Money and Tipping

Croatia's currency is the Kuna (HRK). Euros are widely accepted but you may get a bad exchange rate and change in Kuna. A small (5-10%) tip is appreciated when dining in restaurants.

Local Transportation

The city centre is easily explored on foot.
